BEST Ankara

RM Ankara, Ekim 2009
RM (Regional Meeting) Ankara, is the first RM that is organised by LBG Ankara. In the 4 day activity there were 50 participants from Greek, Macedonian and Turkish LBGs. The event was held in Beypazarı, a close town to Ankara.

CE Sofya
The second Cultural Exchange event of our local group was organized with LBG Coimbra and LBG Sofia. The first step of this CE was in Sofia and we attend this event with 10 people from our LBG. “Youth” supported this event. Cultural Diversity is the main theme and depending on this theme in the whole event “How familiar are we to the other cultures?” was discussed. During the event participants were partied hard and visit the beautiful places in Sofia. At the end; everybody became friend with each other and looked forward to see everybody again in Ankara and Coimbra.

JAM PEKMEZ
Jamboree Pekmez had organized by LBG Belgrade in 13-16 december 2007 in Doni Milanovac which is 1 hour away from Belgrade. This event is organized by 40 organizers and 500 people have participated to this big event. 4 baby member from LBG Ankara participated to this event( sanem çelimli,burcu okur,izzet keskintaş,göker ertunç) While Jamboree is a crowded acitivity participants were distrubuted into 18 teams to make them know each other better. In day times participants take some trianings from trainers and they shared their knowledge with each other and at nights they have enjoayeble times with the crazy parties.


CE Ankara
The second leg of Cultural Exchange among ENSAM (Paris), Pannon (Veszprèm) and ODTÜ (Ankara) was organized by LBG Ankara on the first two weeks of July’08. Totally 15 people (9 Hungarian, 6 French) were hosted for ten days at ODTÜ Dormitories. The Cultural Exchange programme included trips to Salk Lake, Beypazari and historical places of Ankara along with some courses about saving and recycling and some short film shots with the coordination of ODTÜ TV Student Society. The last leg of the CE was organized on September’08 in Veszprèm-Hungary.


CE Vezsprem, Hungary 01.09.2007 – 10.09.2007
Local BEST group at Pannon University in Veszprem, Hungary entertained eight members of Local BEST group Ankara from September 2, to September 9, 2007. The target of the event was that integrated people from two different cultures. In the content of the event, our members visited historic places and touristic towns around Veszprem. One of the traditional event in BEST, “the international evening” was arranged and the pariticipants from two different countries presented their cuisine, folk dance and music. Onur Cem KARAKUŞ, Sinem YENER, Derya AYDIN, Özlem BAYRAKTAR, Murat BAKİ, Cihan ÇAPÇI, Ezgi DEMİRCAN and Elçin EVRAN were the participants from Local BEST Group Ankara.


CE France
First CE of LBG Ankara was organized with LBG Paris-Ensam and LBG Vezsprem. The first part of this CE was in Paris. We participated this event with 10 people from LBG Ankara, and also there were 10 people from LBG Vezsprem. We had a chance to see the most beautiful places in Paris such as Le Louvre,Eiffel Tower,Champs-Elysees ,Musee d’Orsay,Senne River ve Notre Dame Cathedral and also we had lots of new friends from Paris and Vezsprem.


Workshop Ankara 2007
Workshop 07 was the first internal event of BEST Ankara which was organized in 7-12 February 2007. 10 foreign and 3 Turkish students participated to this event. It was about “How does the decision-making process in BEST influences the future of the organization?” At the end of this effective 6 days, a report was prepared by the participants and give to the international board to propose it in the next GA.

It was a big chance for the new established group lbg ankara to see and understand the vision of fun in BEST. the members that visited everywhere in italy, come back highly motivated because of the BEST parties in every night in jam torino.
